Ministry Technology Advocates is the product of almost 20 years of doing ministry and making lots of mistakes along with game-changing discoveries of how to do things better. While I’ve always enjoyed spending time on computers and all kinds of gadgets, it is only with 20/20 hindsight that it became clear that this was no accident. Technology can really empower ministries to do more — better.
The other realization that made this project possible was recognizing that not all persons find geekdom fascinating, but most persons appreciate the benefits that technology can offer. I consider it a great opportunity to help persons in ministry to be better stewards of their time and resources.
My hope is that as I embark upon this project, I cannot fathom how it will evolve over the months and years ahead. If we are to be fishers of men, my hope is to fish smarter.
